Dear All,

 

I hope we will not repeat what happened in the class today. I apologised on behalf of the entire class. Bieng a media professional it is very unfair on our part that we are not taking things seriously.The main aim of the assignment which sir gave is to go through the news everyday, which will help "us" in the long run.

Now lets fold our sleeves and work seriously so that we do not dissapoint sir in the future.

Each individual has to make a presentation with detailed study on one topic of their choice. Presentation should be for 5 - 10 mins. As per the discussion it should be a comparative study of news covered in different newspapers, channels, etc. (For eg: Today's presentations).

 

Presentation date: 2nd July'10.

The "Final Decision" for the Media Analysis Assignment is that only 6 students will present their presentations in the next class which will be followed by discussions.Active participation is expected from everyone,hence all should read up on the 6 topics which I will be mailing across by tomorrow.As for the first 6 people who shall make the presentations on Friday,anyone interested can maill me their names and the topics they want to make the presentations on.However, if by tomorrow no one volunteers I shall take the liberty to pick people and topics at random and will mail it across to the whole batch so that those selected people know that they are expected to prepare a presentation and the rest of the class knows what the topics of discussion shall be so that they prepare themselves to participate.
