Hello All,

It's appalling to see why what started off as a bit of fun for the batch could have such strong reactions. Forget all the seriousness, we have had mails informing us of upcoming birthdays too. These things can be taken in a very light hearted manner and can actually help us share some few smiles, and if someone is not interested kindly choose to ignore. As simple as that.

Another pointer, no disrespect meant to Regil but Ashwini I think we all look up to you as our president, and thus would listen to  your take on matters. Why is Regil coming into the whole picture? I would be surprised if hiring bus services for a party is part of a email policy document. And if it is, then please draft a new policy document having all sort of common mails legalised. :)

And as someone mentioned earlier, take it all lightly. A little bit of smiles dint hurt did it?

Hi,

I think I have to reply this thread again, though I expected Kallol to realise the difference between an official group id and a personal one, after almost a year in SIMC & after an id getting blocked officially. 

For you to mail the unofficial threads, you have to make a separate group id containing your personal email address in it.

For the second question, Aswini is the President of the college only after the 15th April 2010. He will be groomed till then. Hope you read the mail which was sent when he was selected the president.

Also, it is on my assurance that the group id was made & was made by me. Hence, am the moderator. I am responsible solely for the foolish threads that creep into the official id. 

Btw HIRING BUS SERVICES FOR A PARTY is official, which otherwise is done by Mr. Surendra.

Following a conversation with the President Regil, I have been informed that there are a few policies being set regarding the mails that can be sent officially on this id. This is to bring in a certain amount of professionalism. 

The batch will be informed when it is absolutely in place, and according to it this sort of a chain mail is deemed unfit. And this could lead to further official consequences for all of us. 

So he has advised us to stop this thread right here, and avoid further complications into the matter. 

Kindly refrain from posting any more comments here; we should soon be having an unofficial batch id for fun and games like this.
