Hey guys,
I have started working on the next Journal.IO version, which will
focus on stability and performance improvements (even if some new
feature may sneak in).
So far, we've got important fixes on journal redo and compaction
operations, plus a bold increase in read performances.
Also, next version will be deployed on Sonatype maven repositories, so
it will be easier for you to get the dependency in your own projects.
These come at a (small) price:
1) Journal.IO 1.3 storage format wil be incompatible with the previous one.
2) Journal.IO 1.3 groupid will change to: com.github.sbtourist.
Here is the full list of closed issues so far:
https://github.com/sbtourist/Journal.IO/issues?labels=1.3&page=1&sort=updated&state=closed
So this your chance to get your feedback and pull requests in: 1.3
needs your help too.
Speaking of which, I'd like to specially thank the following people
who contributed with code, issue reports and ideas:
Brian McCallister
Julien Eluard
Rob Shepherd
Keep it going, guys...
Cheers,
Sergio B.
