Problem setting up joukuu lite desktop

Hi,

I have a joukuu web account and tried to download the lite desktop app.  For some reason, the app won't open.  I've uninstalled and re-installed multiple times, but when I click on set up, nothing happens.  I tried downloading the plus version to see if perhaps there was simply a problem on my end (I had no intention of purchasing it).  I was able to download the plus version, and it sent me to the activation code page.  Can someone help?
