Backed up desktop folder not updating

I backed up a folder to my box.net and then added a file to it from my TouchPad. The JouKuu client shows the file I added but the desktop folder doesn't have that file in it.

Thanks for your feedback. You can see the file on Joukuu Client, but not showing on Box.net desktop application, am I right? Can you see the file at Box.net website?

Joukuu client and Box.net is working just fine. The folder on my C drive is not showing the updated file. I right clicked on the folder in my C drive and had it back up to Box.net everything worked fine and then I made changes to file on my TouchPad. Now both Box.net and JouKuu client are showing the changes but the original folder that is under my C drive is not showing the changes. I would assume the changes would sync back down to the folder that was backed up but it doesn't seem to be doing that.

Hi, I think it's the way how Box.net and Joukuu work. It doesn't synchronize with your local folder. Not the way same as Dropbox. Am I right?

Dropbox is not syncing with the local folder either. Dropbox has a desktop sync that would create a folder for syncing but I am trying to use the backup function of JouKuu from right clicking on a folder on my C drive. It backs up the folder but it won't sync back any changes done to the folder on the cloud. It doesn't matter if I back it up to Box.net or Dropbox.

Sorry I misunderstood your question. When you right click the file on your desktop and backup through Joukuu Client, we only copy the file into your cloud service provider, we don't move or synchronize the file. That's why when you change the content on the web, it doesn't change the file on your desktop, but it will change the file on Joukuu Desktop App.

I see so it works something like dragging the folder into JouKuu client.

Is it possible to have the folder syncing in the future?

Any news on the folder syncing feature being available for Box.net accounts (without Box Sync)?  I would really like to use Joukuu as my one-stop-shop for desktop sync, similar to Dropbox's client.
