The Denver Area Dungeons & Dragon Meetup site has lost it's Organizer/
Admin. My question to our group is this: Do we want to take over the
Meetup to use it's Calendar and such? It would allow us to see who is
coming & who is not. And plan things better and keep things in line.
Yes / No? What do you think?
We have 7 days to do this... IF we want it.

I recommend no...
Even with the recent discount it still cost money & google groups are free.  If you want to have the events rsvp'd, google has a calendar function (I think they allow this for groups as well).  I use it personally all the time with email to sort of get an idea of who is attending the Sunday game day from the people I invite.  The tricky part is if people aren't in the habit rsvp'ing.
You can check out the calendar event I set up for this Sunday at:

I don't see any need for it, myself.

Very well Conciser it closed. It was just an idea to expand our board.

It was a good thought.  I will miss it.

Why thank you... *soft smile and bows his head.*

Steve I tried to check out Calendar event and got this:
Sorry, Calendar cannot load this event. The server may be temporarily
unavailable, the event may have been deleted, or you may not have
access to it anymore. Please try again in a few minutes. If the
problem persists, talk to the person who created this event, or visit
the Help Center.
You may want to check it out.

Darque, I added you and Josiah to the guests for the event.  I created the event in my calendar w/ the "add event invitation" link in gmail.  I can add others if they want, but figured at this point its just a formality.  The following is a link a friend used to post to the Denver Gamers group:

I'm not sure if there's a Toys 'R' Us around there, but it might be wise to show up packing, just in case...

I RSVP'ed indicating that I'd be coming tomorrow, but the scheduling
needs of some of my group are going to make that infeasible now, it
seems. Sorry. I'll definitely try to make sure I can get to the next
one!
