Z-MERT initial parameters

Hi

what is the  Z-MERT initial parameters such as language model, lexical translation, word's arity and word penalty in Joshua 5 ?

The default params for WordPenalty and OOVPenalty are give in  $JOSHUA/scripts/training/templates/tune/params.txt:

WordPenalty: -2.844814

OOVPenalty: -1

The pipeline initializes the LM and all dense TM params to 1.0, and all sparse TM parameters (which can't really be used with MERT) to 0.0.

If you're asking where to find the final tune parameter weights, those can be found in RUNDIR/tune/1/joshua.config.final.
