Excellent scope at an excellent price.

First off, the things that really determine the quality of a scope, the turrets and target tracking accuracy. My particular viper pst configured with the MRAD turrets and reticle. Reticle measurement tests are spot on and clicks are crisp, firm and dead accurate. Now to the rest of the scope, this thing is packed with features that on competitor's scopes cost anywhere from 400 to 1000 dollars more. The glass is of great quality, and clarity. The side focus parallax knob is an excellent feature, and the illuminated reticle looks outstanding. Vortex is rather new to the optics game but if they continue to produce products like this and at these competitive prices (not to mention the outstanding warranty) i think they are here to stay.

A beautiful scope

This is my first "high end" scope so far. All you have to really do is look through this and compare it to others and you'll be sold. The turrets have very nice clicks to them and the finish is first rate. I bought it because I had talked to Vortex over the phone and I got a very pleasant guy to answer my questions who took the time to educate me along with answering my questions and gave me his name and told me to call him back if I ever had any more questions. In an era of phone trees and voice mail, this was just great to me. Plus, their warranty is how all "lifetime" warranties should work. So with other reviews, their great phone support and warranty, I now have a superb scope on my Savage 10FCP HS Precision. I will buy another for my next rifle.

It is great!!!!!!

For the money, it is the best scope our there, vary clear glass, repeatable zero, good solid turret knobs, great retical, a robust solid scope that does what it is supposed to do, WORK!!!!! Oh and the best warranty available bar none.
