Hey all,

Thanks for wishing Bart and family a fond welcome to the neighborhood, but it doesn't appear that they are included on this googlegoups email tree, as of yet.  Bart told me this evening that he would like for both his wife, Luan, and himself to be added to the email tree.  

Charlie, when you have time could you please add both of their emails to the tree?

Bart also told me that he found an apple watch in front of his house today and would like to use the email tree to ask all his neighbors if they lost one.

Thanks Scott and everyone for welcoming our new neighbors.  I haven't yet met them, but when I do, I'll be sure to let them know about the email list.  Anyone wanting to be added to the list can just send me an email.

Besides asking me directly, anyone on the web can ask to join the group.  If you have a google account, you can go to https://groups.google.com and search under "All groups and messages" for "josephine-1200".  From there, you'll see the latest conversations and an icon/button that you can use to "Ask to join group".  All requests come to me.

If you don't have a gmail account, or you prefer to receive email at a non-gmail account, then you can create a google account without changing your email address [https://accounts.google.com/SignUpWithoutGmail], and then you can ask to join the group.

Hi everyone,

Thank you to Scott and Charley for adding us to this list, and to the numerous neighbors who have welcomed us since we moved in last weekend! We're so happy to be here. We have lived in Berkeley for the last ~8 years, at various addresses, and can already feel the great vibes from this block.

Yes, we did find an Apple Watch in our front yard, white silicone band. Let us know if you hear of anyone missing one.

In addition, does anyone know of a responsible high schooler or college student nearby who would be up for an occasional babysitting gig? They'll get to hang with our kids Tommie (11) and Jackie (7).
