Dear Shepherds,
The Missions Ministry is excited to announce that our church will once again be participating in Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that brings the love of Jesus and the message of the Gospel to children around the world — one shoebox at a time.
This year, the Missions team has asked me to help coordinate our church’s involvement, and we’d love for each House Church to fill at least one shoebox together. Make it a meaningful group effort — gather your members, pray over the boxes, and pack them with care and purpose. It’s a simple yet powerful way to bless others and live out Christ’s call to love and generosity.
Of course, members are welcome to fill additional boxes on their own if they feel led!
If anyone in your group chooses to build a shoebox online through the Samaritan’s Purse website, please ask them to let you know so that you can share that information with me. We’ll be tracking our total as a church family and celebrating what God does through our collective effort.
Filled shoeboxes can be dropped off any Sunday up until the final collection day on November 23.
Please take a few minutes during your Friday gathering to share about Operation Christmas Child, invite participation, and pray for the children who will receive these gifts and hear the Gospel.
Soon, you will receive a follow-up email from amy...@hilcorp.com with more details — including packing tips, suggested items, and how to participate online.
Thank you for leading your House Churches so faithfully. We’re grateful for your partnership in helping our church reach the nations with the love of Christ — one box, one child, one Gospel message at a time.
With Gratitude,
Amy Ko
on behalf of the Missions Ministry Team
