Sleeping good

I have been living with Parkinson's for more than a decade now and have a very hard time sleeping for more than a couple of hours at a time. I ordered this bed based on a recommendation from a friend and find it to be truly wonderful to sleep on. I can move the bed into what ever position I wish and get several hours of sleep at a time and if I feel a bit uncomfortable it only takes a second to readjust to another position.
I saw several reviews that you could not get in or out of the bed once it is in an adjusted position but this is simply not the case. I am up and down throughout the night and never flatten the bed.
The only thing I wish that this had was a memory function. The zero-g position button is a good starting point for me but I seam to adjust the leg position down more and would like to have my preferred starting point saved. My car remembers 2 different settings which include not only the seats 7 adjustments but also the pedals and
steering wheel so I would think this would not be to much to consider adding.

Bad customer service

Lets start. with the ergomotion 400. i am very happy with this adjustable base. i put it inside the frame of my queen size waterbed and it is a close fit. i did not know if i would use the massage feature, i love it! zero g setting is like floating on air. I would recommend it to any one. Now on to the non-existent customer service. I ordered the base on January 4, 2014. it has a delivery date of January 9-14, 2014. it arrived January 28, 2014. I emailed the seller on the 14th to see where it was at. Got one email saying they would look for it. They said it shipped on the 14th. I contacted the freight company and they had no record of it. It finally shipped on January 23, 2014 (from a warehouse only ten hours away) nine days after adjustable beds.com told me they had. I had to file a missing item claim with amazon to get them to ship the bed. I will never buy from this site or the mother company of mattress firm INC. again. I would have given this a five star rating if there had
been any customer service. Almost forgot white glove delivery ment one old man pushing the base off the back of his truck and sliding it into garage, no set up or taking away the old bed.

White glove DELIVERY is to the curb, not inside. I talked the driver into putting it in the garage but I had to help him. If you want the bed set up in your bedroom, you need White glove SERVICE. Which is extra.
The bed weighs 250 pounds.
The bed works great and the construction quality is good. This bed is a "wall hugger" design but the thickness of the platform still moves your upper body forward. You will not be able to reach a nightstand. You will have to either move the stand away from the wall or use some wider type of table.
This bed has the advantage being able to raise the head of the bed 70 degrees (when I bought mine, the description said 60 but I emailed the company and said it is 70), others are limited to 60 degrees.
The bed moves very quietly and smoothly. It also has heavier duty motors at 24 volts. Most other beds use 12 volt motors. The bed does not come with headboard brackets. I just mounted the headboard to the wall. The
brackets can be ordered for about $50.00.
I would be careful about the mattress you use with this bed. If it is too thick, it seems to me it would squeeze your body in a smaller area and limit the effect of the massage feature. I haven't checked this out and all the foam mattress companies say their mattresses work with adjustable beds. I bought a 9" Bid-in-a box mattress.
