My little piece of heaven

As soon as I get into bed I am greeted with nothing but comfort. I was so excited when it arrived all I had to do was put the mattress on my bed and that was it I was done. It is an amazing feeling when you lay down on it, it just feels like you are laying on clouds it is so divine.

This is fantastic!!! By doing research on Memory Foam Mattresses I was able to make the right choice for me. The description of the product was on target and I was able to make sure I was getting a quality product that I would not sink into and would give me the support I wanted without being hard as a rock. I love my Icon Pillow Top Memory foam Mattress, firm yet soft it is the perfect hug as I sleep. It is amazing it expands to the King Size and 15 inches deep. The base thickness was the selling point for me on this product. The smaller the base the cheaper the product but the lesser of the product as well. Love my new bed!

This is my first Amazon post and I'm only doing it because everyone wants to know about internet mattress ordering and quality. Okay, I ordered this mattress a few days ago after reviewing a lot of other mattresses and reading reviews. I have unpacked it and am waiting for it to fully expand as I give my initial first thoughts.
It arrived before the estimated delivery date, which was a great surprise. The box, which was placed outside my garage, was about 16" square. Like everyone else I began to wonder how my 15" mattress could fit in this box. The box was quite heavy, but I managed to get it in the house and up the stairs....along with the help of my ten year old daughter. I should mention that the box was torn on several sides and had splits. I didn't let that bother me because the manufacturer may not be at fault, as long as the mattress is still in tact....which it was. The mattress was wrapped in several layers of plastic. After I cut open the first
layer, it began to expand. I could actually hear it expanding. On another note....there were no instructions, just the mattress in the box. Luckily during my research I had watched several you tube videos and read reviews on how to unpack a memory foam mattress. It seemed to expand 15 inches almost immediately. I don't know if that's good or bad because I've read some reviews that said the higher density foam takes longer to expand. Actually hold on a minute....I'm going to measure it now....be back in a sec. Okay, so after about 30 minutes it is 13.5 inches. I'll see how much it expands.
As far as the smell that I was expecting....I didn't smell anything. I literally had to put my nose on the mattress to smell the "textile-like" smell coming from it. My bedroom is pretty airy, but I would assume if I were laying on it trying to get a good night's sleep it would be more noticeable. My daughter...same one....says it smells like dough.
Anyway, I only
gave it four stars because it is not finished expanding and I haven't actually slept on it. I did press on it and it felt a little more cushy than I expected, but still good. My daughter that it was cool that she could see her handprint on it. I can't wait to sleep on it. By the way, the mattress cover is quite pretty and resembles a pillow top mattress.
