SoftClients require some unimplemented crypto?

Is this still true? Either way, could someone explain the issue and
provide links to any relevant references?

Crypto is optional to connect to a sunray server, but afaik the oracle softclient requires crypto.

That cleans things up a lot. When I read on http://www.jopenray.org/ that:

"(jOpenRay currently only supports Sun Ray 2 hardware by Sun Microsystems.)"

I wondered why that was so. Scanning the group posts led me to
believe that it wasn't possible to support
http://softray.sourceforge.net/ without additional help from Sun.
