Hi,

I'm evaluating Jooq 3.2. When I tried codegen with oracle, I got an error - java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.jooq.util.oracle.OracleDatabase. I searched all three jars mentioned in the user guide, the org.jooq.util.oracle package doesn't exist.

What did I miss? Thanks

Ron

Hi Ron,

I suspect I will need to adapt the manual for jOOQ 3.2, as Oracle support is no longer available from Maven Central (which you probably used...?)
More information on jOOQ 3.2 licensing can be found here:

To evaluate jOOQ 3.2 with Oracle, please download the free trial version from the downloads page.

Hope this helps,
Lukas

Thanks a lot for reporting.

I have registered #2801 to document this in the manual, and to add dummy OracleDatabase classes to the Open Source Edition, emitting a warning about the 3.2 licensing change.
