Hello Espen,

I'm currently considering adding Sybase ASE support for a user who has
recently requested this:
http://groups.google.com/group/jooq-user/browse_thread/thread/130b44cb59b14a82/33249edd42b16d3d

Do you have any experience with Sybase ASE as well, apart from Sybase
SQL Anywhere? I'm now trying to get a hold of the slightly different
dictionary views. I'm positive that I can finalise basic jOOQ support
next week. But I am curious about some obvious or subtle differences
between the two database, dialect-wise, if you know any.

Cheers
Lukas

Greetings Lukas!

Long time no "see"! Unfortunately I haven't had much opportunity lately to contribute to your project.

When it comes to Sybase ASE, I don't have any knowledge/experience with the differences between Sybase ASE and SQL Anywhere.

Espen

No worries. I'm starting to realise the effort you've put into the
Sybase SQL Anywhere integration. Sybase dictionary views are really
hard to grasp correctly.

OK. I'll find out the hard way, then. As usual :-)

Thanks,
Lukas
