I'm about to re-launch the http://www.jooq.org website, adding a bit
more flair and CI / CD. One thing I have in mind is your suggestion
about having a paged manual with an overall index, similar to this one
here:
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.0/static/index.html
Do you happen to know of any tools that could help me easily maintain
such a manual? Ideally, it would allow for generating one huge HTML
page, several small pages per chapter, and optionally even PDF's

Well, I was satisfied.
It can generate manual in many formats and his own format is XML.
