Looks like this group may be abandoned.

Anyway, I'm noticing a glitch when updating JCE to .30 You may get a pink box that says your Download ID is not up to date but just ignore that. Let the core update and then it will kick you out to the CP and then click on Updates Available and everything will be cool running.

When updating to Joomla 3.6.3 if Akeeba does a backup first and then kicks you out, then you log back in and the update is still not done or if you get one of those annoying 'invalid token' messages, just disable the plugin for Akeeba backup on update, do the backup manually and then do the update.

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks Mark!

I decided to hold off on Joomla 3.6.3 until I get back from a trip — what you describe is exactly the headache I didn’t need in the last day or two before traveling.

I have MyJoomla.com doing other updates for me — keeping NoNumber/RegularLabs extensions up to date, but also JCE.   Now I’m worried that something may be fishy on those JCE installs.

Thanks for the heads up!

Hey Mark,

both test sites I updated to Joomla 3.6.3 the modules are not working.
One site the whole screen goes blank regardless if it is editing or a
new module?

The other site I have an error and cannot save any modules - I can see
them, but I cannot make a new one or edit it?

Ideas? I looked and seems Joomla is posting a security update tomorrow,
so will try this on the other 2 test sites...

thanks,
Deb

Did you try clearing your browser cache? That was the fix recommended
in a post I saw. Best wishes! Vicky
