timeline extension?

Has anyone found a timeline extension that they like for Joomla? My google search keeps turning up dead links. It seems wordpress has more options for this kind of thing, but the client is used to Joomla.

I need a timeline where you can chose a date / scroll and see articles, links, audio and video. It's for a performance residency program that combines 4 different residency organizations, and 4 different artists. We want to chronicle their progress through the program.

Meg - I use WMT Timeline on the CDSS Centennial website and am pretty happy with it - scroll to the bottom to see it:
