I just looked at this component: https://github.com/joomlatools/joomlatools-pages. Thank you for sharing.

Which is not quite clear to me yet. You write that you don't need a database. But you need the Joomla database, it's just that the articles are not stored in the database, right?Or do I miss something?

Thanks for testing! 

That is correct indeed, you do indeed still need a database when you install Joomla, Pages however doesn't require a database. The all the data (pages, data, etc- is stored in the file system. 

A standalone version of Pages that doesn't require Joomla is something i'm planning for in a next step.
