Problem with VirtueMart checkout it keeps saying didn't select shipping address

I have built a site in VirtueMart and I'm having a problem with the
with the checkout. In the normal setup there's is only a billing
address and my client needed a shipping and billing address in the
customer registration area so I set them up in there but when the
customer goes to checkout its keeps saying that you didn't not
selected a shipping address and they cannot complete the checkout
process. How can I fix this?

Does anyone in this group have any experience with Civicrm? I have an out of town client who has asked us to develop a site on the Civicrm platform. I'd be interested in partnering or sub-contracting with anyone who has had experience.

CIVICRM is a CRM system which normally is internal facing. There is a Joomla component for this.

I have minor experience in setting up the CRM for the company, but we have done the installations etc.
