I just built a new site for a client. Since their DNS servers pointed to their current site, I set up a sub-domain on my server: client.middlecoast.net

I built the site, it worked great (note the past tense). In the week hours of last night I pointed their A record to my server. Lo and behold, the server blocked access, even though I had provided server aliases to: client.com and www.client.com.

Next step. Renamed directory from client.middlecoast.net to client.com. Didn't serve either domain. Then switched server settings to client.com with client.middlecoast.net as the alias. Still didn't server either domain.

Switched everything back to what I believe was the original set up. Still Can't server anything.

I believe there is a Joomla document that needs to be edited, but not sure which file that is.

Can anyone give me some insight?

Thanks,

Mitch

Fixed it. Must be too tired. I had forgotten to change the root path when I renamed the directory to client.com. I still can't get www.client.com to work and my alias of client.middlecoast.net doesn't work.

If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mitch
