goofy drop down menu problem

I am sure this is obvious, but I'm tired and missing something.

I am using HXDMOOMENU for drop down menus. All menu items appear in the drop down menu when I roll over, but, although all of the pages exist, clicking on every page delivers a "Not Found The requested URL /auto-service/transmission was not found on this server." message. Note that it is NOT giving the full URL in the error message, just the path after the domain name.

This happens with or without Jsecure activated.

I am using "Search Engine Friendlu URLs." The "htaccess.txt" file has been renamed ".htaccess."

My other web sites on the same server are configured the same way. What am I missing that is causing the SEO URLs to deliver a "file not found" message?
