Good progress on docs screens. 4 more screens completed. Need to chase people up on a number of partially completed screens.
Notes on the API docs to be circulated soon.
Business arising from the previous meeting
Future release policies in hand (Louis, Mark, Andrew)
General Business
Setting up times for ad hoc work meetings
Idea is to have several times per week where people are available to work on tasks like Needs Review, 1.6 design decisions, other issues
Maybe one 30-minute time per day - roughly Mon to Fri Europe time
Try to have at least 2 coordinators at each.
Starting schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri: 21:00 GMT; Tue, Thu: 22:00 GMT.
Interest in a dedicated UI team
A number of people have approached Steve Burge regarding a "UI team".
Main issue is confusion around what a "UI Team" is, and the overlap with usability.
Falls into a larger strategy for forming teams to handle various aspects of development in the same way the JBS has formed sub-teams.
Will defer discussion to a future meeting and seek further input from Steve on what people think a "UI Team" means/does.
Mobilising the Upgrade team
Strategy for upgrade to 1.6; People to do it; Marketing
Discuss details at daily work meetings this week.
