Agenda & Minutes

1. Business arising from the previous meeting (http://groups.google.com/group/joomla-wg-production/browse_thread/thread/2d60de2328ef4f7f)
   
1. Louis to blog about the process pre and post Beta.
2. Release manager considerations deferred to a future meeting.
   
2. Next steps for INIs/keys (reference: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AhOIWStZm809dDFrdlc4aU1zeE9zQzJXTkNRR0xTbFE&hl=en)
   
1. Two main areas left in backend are com_content and com_categories (exlcuding unmerged branches).
2. Frontend com_content, com_contact, com_users still needs work
3. The meeting expressed their thanks to Jean-Marie and Christophe for their diligence in this area.
   
3. Joomla Bug Squad (JBS) and 1.6 path forward
1. Ian and Mark are current coordinators.
2. Skype chat is being closed and #joomla-bug-squad on irc.freenode.net will be used as a public, open chat for the JBS.  Logging will be looked into at a later date (not an immediate priority). Mailing list should be used to call for and log group decisions and for other appropriate communications to the wider community.
   
4. Status of branches
1. Language switcher ready for testing (Christophe, JM).
2. com_social should be ready by the end of this week (Andrew, Louis).
3. Help system key references will be ready end of this week (Chris).
4. Beez partially merged (Louis to follow up).
   
5. Feature patch tracker
1. Existing up-to-date patches will be looked at as far as time permits.
2. Tracker will be closed after 5 May
