Hi Joomla! Mates,

I am glad to be here :).

I am Jay Soe from Singapore (GMT +8). I am doing my Bachelor of
Engineering (Mechanical) at NUS (National University of Singapore)
[1]. I am also doing minor in Technology Entrepreneurship and minor in
Business Management. It is my passion for volunteering that initially
led me into OpenSource projects, especially Joomla!. I hope to merge
the concept of OpenSource into educational aspect of social
development. And with Joomla! as a powerful framework, I would like to
empower the community by filling in the need for IT in social
development projects. I am fortunate to have a project that give me an
opportunity to understand end-user behaviour and workflow to
complement the development of this project. I will be working on a
Digg.com inspired project code-named Jiggy Jigg [2] to facilitate
community involvement in the Joomla! news workflow and trigger more
organic growth of Joomla! related contents. My other interests evolve
around collaboration, economics, entrepreneurship and technology.
