End term has started

Dear Students,

The Summer Of Code end phase has started. This means that the final
code needs to be comitted within the next upcomming days. Please share
your status with your mentor, your mentor will perform the final end-
term evaluation, and before he does he will share the overview
information. If, for some reason, you are not able to contact your
mentor, please send the project report directly to me
(wilco....@joomla.org). You will al be informed by your mentor
about the end term evaluation result of your project.

At the end of this week I will send everyone (including the mentors) a
questionnaire about the Summer Of Code program. We also did that past
year to make a total overview and summary, so we can improve the
program next year (that, if Google again does a Summer Of Code).

Hi All,

I just want to thank Wilco, my mentor Rob, all the other mentors, my
fellow students and of course Google for this great last couple of
months. I really enjoyed working with all of you and this has
certainly been an experience to remember. I learned a lot and had lots
of opportunity to familiarise myself with the Joomla! 1.5 framework
better. I certainly aspire to get involved in the Joomla! core, even
if it's just from a template perspective. I will start to send all the
outstanding details to my mentor tomorrow; can't wait to hear the
outcomes and if some of my code will make its way into the Joomla!
trunk. :)
