Time for a first round of introductions. I think it would be great if
you
all posted something about yourself in this thread to inform other
mentors and students about the project you will be working on.

Note : also post the following information :

1. timezone information and localization
2. forum username, if u don't have one please create one
3. forge username, if u don't have one please create one

Questions you might have about project management, SVN access,
trackers,
mailing lists etc... will be dealt with once all students are in. In
the mean time
you can get to know your mentors.

If you have any questions you or your mentor(s) can't solve just post
it on
this list and I will try to come to the rescue ;)

I am doing the mootools thing that is listed on the GSoC-Joomla
page(Well... I'll create more posts about the project if someone wants

My name is Nur Aini Rakhmawati. In Taiwan my name turns into Lu Ai Ni
and usually called Aini. I am just ordinary women and nothing too
special, but having big dream.

Originally, I am Indonesian, but I am living in Taipei for pursuing my
master degree in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology
and focus on wireless and multimedia. So my time zone is GMT+8

My SoC project is Email interface for publishing, I will be guided by
Mateusz Krzeszowiec from Poland.
Many things that I want to learn from open source community especially
on parallel debugging and devolepment together. Spirit to sharing
knowledge and helping each other V-_-V

My name is Faolan Cheslack-Postava. I'm currently finishing up my
junior year at the university of Michigan in the US for my bachelors
of computer science engineering. My project is to work on a digg/
reddit type component for joomla, but with more general algorithms
that are suitable for a wide range of content.

My timezone is UTC -4 and my usernames for the forum and forge are
both fcheslack.
