Hello everyone,
For Google Summer of Code I've been working on a package that allows developers to interact with Google API's. For now, I've implemented Google Maps, Picasa WebAlbums, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Google Calendar.
You can find the code at https://github.com/aaronschmitz/joomla-platform/tree/JGoogle/libraries/joomla/google. I've built a very simple demo using the calendar library for the platform that you can find at https://gist.github.com/3414245.
