How to save html code in a field?

My table has a params field (json encode).
One of the params fields has to be saved with html code in it.
I tried (in my xml file of course) filter="safehtml" and filter="raw" but none of them worked.
Is there some way to save html code in the database?

I was wrong, fortunately filter="safehtml" works!
