Joomla 3.0: how to set the link to Author.

Hi,

 I am working on one of the blog page site.

 Here I need to link the Author and his post articles.

But its not working for me :(

I did all configuration but still not working.

Steps I did....
  1. Created one contact list and linked to user ( Author )
  2. Enabled the content - Contact plugin and also user profile plugin.. 
  3. In Menu Item and Article option, I have set "Link Author" is Show

But still in Article page Author name was not hyper link.


Could you please advice any other step I have missed.

Which view are you using? Featured view or category view?
Do you maybe have an URL where we can have a look?

 Thanks for your reply.

I viewing as a " Category view " and working in my localhost not yet hosted.

Did you try with the default "Protostar" template? Maybe your template doesn't support the linked author for some reason?

Yeah, I tried with default Protostar template, Thing is; its working on other sites,but not in this site.
I am finding any other solutions to get.

It may be a stupid question but you did link the correct user with a contact, right?
You could also try what happens if you set author links in com_content global config. Just to be sure.
