Hi everybody,

when i was optimizing my website page speed, gtmetrix suggested me to defer parsing of javascript.
also i completed that by adding async option and using jch_optimize plugin.
but right now when i'm logging in joomla administrator panel, submenu of Site, Menus, Content, Components, Extensions, Tools, Help not showing.
again after refreshing page, then it is showing properly

i'm using joomla 1.5 and may be due to defering scripts this can cause the problem.
can anyone tell me that how submenu is displayed?

for reference i also attached a snapshot

Thanks,
Rahul.

Sorry, I don't mean to step on any toes, but this list is for extension
development and discussion of how to create extensions.  You should
instead ask this question on the Joomla forum.  Here's the direct link to
it:
http://forum.joomla.org/

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Brian

Rahul - why not upgrade? 1.5 is EOL sometime ago.

There is no non-manual way of deferring JS in 1.5 (or 3.0 that I know of) except manually placing that JS at the bottom of the index.php file.

But, if you have time to work on the site, I hope you are able to upgrade. So much more happy coming your way if you do so =)

Sure, i am going to upgrade my website within some days but it will be better if it is fixed temporarily and also i can know the cause of that.

can you not tell the reason for that?

Thanks,
Rahul.
