Perhaps you should check that your extensions are calling the same version (1.7.2 for instance) of jquery seems like they might not be.

What I did?

I installed Autson slideshow module and enabled in slideshow position in joomla template.The module has one parameter for enabling/disabling jquery at pageload and module load time. If I enable jquery, the slidshow will work perfectly in IE8 and below browsers. But my site already has a jquery loading at pageload time. So its not required to again load another jquery in module. So I disabled it and it working perfectly in other browsers. But when comes to IE8 and below, the slideshow is not working. If I enable jquery in parameters of Autson slideshow module, then the slideshow is working well in IE8 and all browsers, but the problem is that my other jquery functions like a Fancybox Popup, which I implemented in home page, and another jquery slider is not working then. Anyone have any idea regarding this. Please help me with a solution.

Yes i checked that. Version doesnt matter. Any version of jquery will work with autson
