Where can I get info on $context

Hi All,

I'm making a finder plugin for a component and am looking for some info on $context and its format :

$context == 'com_content.form'

I've not seen a period inbetween like this before. I'm assuming it's something similar to JRegistry namespaces (also something I've never used).

Any links appreciated.
