Good News!
JetBrains has decided to continue supporting Joomla! with free licenses.
The rules have changed, though. There is no longer one single key for
all of us. We've got a pool of 60 individual licenses instead, which is
exactly the number of instances we had during the past year.
So here is how I'm going to handle the new situation:
If you just want to try PhpStorm, please make use of the free 30-day
trial (
https://www.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/). It has no functional
restrictions.
Due to the limited number of licenses, some selection criteria is
needed. Since the license is granted for Joomla! development, I'll only
invite contributors.
If you want to apply for a license, send a mail to
nbra...@bsds.de,
together with a proof (link) of your contribution to Joomla! within the
last year. I'll then send you an invitation link, which will connect one
of the licenses to your JetBrains account (the account is created during
the process, if you don't have one yet).
*Develop with pleasure!*
Regards,
Niels
