Any info about Front end module editing ?

I see that for 3.3 Front end module editing is planed.

Can anyone shed some light on this so that we can adapt our module chromes.

I assume that JModuleHelper::renderModule will be changed to incorporate edit link. 

Any info on this would be helpful.
