Potential Compatibility Issue Affecting jDownloads After Joomla 5.3.0-rc1 Update

I am writing to report a potential compatibility issue that has arisen after updating my Joomla website to version 5.3.0-rc1. I am currently using the jDownloads component to manage file uploads on the frontend.
Following the update, I have noticed that the Data Field Selection settings within the component's Frontend Upload Configuration (specifically under “Group Creation / Editing Settings”) are no longer saving as expected. After modifying the checkbox selections and saving the configuration, only a minimal subset of fields (typically Title and Category) remains selected, and all other options revert to their default unchecked state.
This issue seems to occur consistently, regardless of browser or user group, and was not present prior to the 5.3.0-rc1 update. It appears that changes introduced in the latest Joomla version may be affecting how form data is validated or persisted within third-party extensions.
I would greatly appreciate it if your team could review this behavior to determine whether it is related to recent core changes, and whether any adjustments are recommended for extension developers to maintain compatibility.
