Creating PDF views in Joomla 3.8

There was correct solution to create PDF views in 2.5 at https://docs.joomla.org/J2.5:Creating_PDF_views
Since Joomla 3.8 this doesn't work any more as libraries/joomla/document/html changed of address that was still there un Joomla 3.6 !
How can we work with that now, without any doc ?
Does Joomla Team want to loose all 3rd part community ? I followed Joomla since 1.0 that was a really good product. But it never stops to decrease, now changing fundamentals structures every 5 minute ! As a developper I'm asking myself why I continue with Joomla as at each release I have to learn again every thing from start as I would with another more stable CMS
Another question: what is that f... new sequential google forum use with no possibility to follow our own posts
