I am developing a number of intertwined Joomla! 1.5 sites which will
all point to the same OpenDirectory.
Currently I have authentication against OpenDirectory and user
creation in OpenDirectory working when a user registers on Joomla
site.
Is there some way to satisfy the following case with:
- Website A and Website B point to same directory DN.
- User registers on Website B, account is created in Joomla and
corresponding account is created in directory.
- User logs in to Website A without registering. Directory is queried
for user, match is found and password is validated. Then account
record is created in Website A Joomla db.
This is probably more third party question but just want to know if I
need to develop this functionality.
I did E-mail Sam Moffat about this but maybe someone else knows.
Thanks,
Bill
I'll probably do a write up on this as I can't image it being that
rare of a configuration. Maybe I am wrong.

I will definitely put a write up somewhere. I am unsure where to put
this since only the first plug-in is part of Joomla! core. The other
two plug-ins are part of the JAuthTools collection.

I would like to know how you are coming with this. It sounds very
interesting and I am sure alot of people could use such a system.
There are systems out there but they do not always work of are very
limited.
Please keep me posted on you project, I wish you success.
