Which filter in text areas

Hello

Which filter should I add to the confix.xml file on a field which is a text area? I tried:

- filter="safehtml"

- no filter

And both wre stripping out tags like iframe when I've saved the config. I was logged in as SuperAdmin. The only filter which wored as filter="raw" but this is ignoring the bad words in the global configuration.

I couldn't really find a link which is addressing this topic.

The default filter, used if you do not use a filter, is quite strict.  Raw will allow anything.  Safehtml will allow just that, which certainly wouldn't include iframes.
