how to use Joomla's LinkedIn library

I'm looking for documentation and/or an example of using the library /joomla/linkedin

I'm assuming it provides a simple way to prompt the user to use the LinkedIn login prompt to authenticate oneself as well as transfer contact information from LinkedIn.
