This is really bad, since it removes functionality that at least I've
been using extensively. I just noticed it now since I normally work
without an editor, but now my customer wants to edit the website by
himself and I really want to prevent him screwing up articles that have
some special content in it simply by opening it.
I've seen that the parameter cleanup_startup was removed in that tinymce
version and I have to admit that I didn't see a replacement for this in
a 5 minute search, but I can't believe that there is no replacement for
this somewhere. Please take a look and repair this for 2.5.

Could be done but we'd loose a lot of things.

Possible but quite a bit of work. This would also mean we'd effectively fork TinyMCE which means more work with their updates.
