ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor degree required.
Experience
2-4 years experience as an Oracle Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Minimum 2 years of functional experience in the Order Management area
· Experience with Oracle Applications 11i or Release 12
· Demonstrated problem solving abilities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
· Ability to work with offshore facilities exist in different time zonesAbility to work non-standard hours when required
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for developing and implementing solutions for Order Management functions within the global ERP team of Oracle eBusiness suite. This position is responsible for business requirements gathering, functional analysis and design, deployment, and support of software applications for business functions in major areas of the business and enterprise wide.
Individual for this position needs to be very willing to work independently, as well as in a virtual global group, as many of his/her peers will be in other global facilities. This includes his/her direct line management. Needs to be able to take direction from afar and provide reasonable progress steps.
This position works closely with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and provide integrated solutions to improve business processes and support critical business strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Converting business requirements to functional specifications and communicating these to software development teams.
* Conducting unit tests, component integration tests, systems and acceptance testing, correcting problems and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional requirements.
* Diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics, and utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools.
* Coordinating issue resolution with Oracle support team
* Designing and developing test procedures which enumerate the conditions to be tested.
* Training end users
* Providing production support for the application in the areas of Order Management and Advanced Pricing.
