Hello all,

Has there been any non-official response to the biased and misleading flyers, signs, and statements being produced by the so-called "Mt. Washington Green Space Committee"?  It seems to me that interested residents who support the development of a family-friendly bike trail (but who are not involved in the planning in any way) should organize, if such organization hasn't happened already.  If we (as the "silent majority") stand by and do nothing, we run the risk that the small but vocal anti-bike trail minority will prevail.  I don't have a lot of time to devote to this (with a 4 month old baby), but I could contribute in some way to pro-bike trail advocacy.  Please let me know off-list if you are already involved in such efforts, or if you would like to become involved: susan....@jhu.edu.  By the way, I wanted to attend last night's meeting, but wasn't able to due to family obligations (i.e., said 4 month old baby).  I would have liked to hear -- and respond to -- what the "Green Space Committee" members had to say.
