The vision for adobe-firefly is to help people expand upon their natural creativity. As both a product and an embedded model inside Adobe apps, Firefly offers generative AI tools made specifically for creative needs, use cases, and workflows.
firefly is the natural extension of the technology Adobe has produced over the past 40 years, driven by the belief that people should be empowered to bring their ideas into the world precisely as they imagine them.
This is in conjunction with the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA), which has developed an open technical standard providing publishers, creators, and consumers the ability to understand the origin of different types of media, including the ability to add a Content Credential that allows creators to indicate that generative AI was used. Observation for Adobe Commerce is a tool that combines log data from multiple sources to help you better manage your Adobe Commerce site performance and diagnose issues. It visually presents application log data in combination with data from the New Relic observability platform on a single pane of glass with an easy-to-understand dashboard. The solution is based on New Relic Nerdlets, which are custom applications built with New Relic One programmability interfaces.
When issues arise, it can be time-consuming to pinpoint where the issue is rooted and have the knowledge to fix it. The Adobe support organization has accumulated tribal knowledge built on years of looking at logs and command line outputs while troubleshooting issues. The tool leverages such knowledge to identify important signals against a common timeline. The timeline can be expanded or contracted, allowing you to visualize your log data to help with performance management and issue resolution.
Using Observation for Adobe Commerce, you can analyze complex problems encountered by support to help identify root causes. Instead of tracking disparate data, you can spend your time correlating events and errors to gain deep insights into the causes of performance bottlenecks. The tool is intended to give a clearer view of some of the problems experienced by sites to help you identify potential root causes of problems and keep your sites performing optimally. This includes identifying if and what bots are causing site problems.

The Adobe Creative Space of the Innovation & Research Commons is an open-access learning space for Auburn students, faculty, and staff dedicated to providing Auburn students with digital creation skills and technology. This area, as well as online resources here, promote the digital literacy of our students to encourage their success both in their coursework and in their careers. Creative co-working space and computing is available in the Adobe Creative Space on a first-come first-serve basis with priority given to users actively working in Adobe Creative Cloud; instructional sessions by I&RC staff have first priority. While staff may access our online resources, the focus of our mission is to support the academic integration of Adobe Creative Cloud by students and faculty in support of the Office of the Provost's Adobe Creative Campus initiative.
Computers in the Adobe Creative Space and in the I&RC have Adobe Creative Cloud applications already installed via a Shared Lab license, which allows users to access them on those machines only, via an Adobe ID including a 'free' Adobe ID that can be created on the spot. If accessing Adobe apps via a 'free' Adobe ID, users will need to save any created files in other storage such as Box or OneDrive. Students are encouraged not to use the 'free' Adobe ID and to request their Auburn Adobe subscription at: adobe.auburn.edu.
In-person and/or online Zoom Room assistance is available. Adobe Student Assistant Consultants are available in the Adobe Creative Space and/or online in an Adobe Help Zoom Room to assist users in learning skills to complete academic projects using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Access the Adobe Help Desk and/or Adobe Help Zoom room at: aub.ie/adobehelp during the posted hours of the Adobe Help Desk Calendar. University-recognized holidays and library hours may affect these hours and schedules are subject to change. Consultations are first-come, first-serve. Only one user at a time will be admitted to the meeting or assisted in person. Help sessions may have a maximum time of 30 minutes.
All consultants can assist with Adobe Express. See the list of consultants and their additional areas of specialty below. It is advised to match the assistance you need with the consultant who lists skills in that area for the best experience and visit the Adobe Help Desk in person or via Zoom at the time they are listed on the calendar. See the left sidebar for the calendar and Zoom room link.
Resources here empower students and faculty to use Adobe Creative Cloud to enhance classroom assignments, present research, and design and publish in print and online.
