Greetings of the day !
I Hope in the previous mail,Prabhu mentioned that there is a balance of Rs
3600 to be contributed for any social cause. Yesterday the balance amount
was spent for a noble cause in saving a 8 months old baby suffering from
infantile diabetes.The baby is recovering well and will be discharged from
ICU in the next couple of days.The baby's father, an attendant in our bank
was finding it difficult to meet the medical expenses (since an injunction
alone cost Rs 11000 /- ). Because of the various contributions he was able
to make up Rs 31500/- (wherein Join us contributed Rs 3600/-)and save the
baby at the end of the day. I thank each one of us for the support
provided. I will keep updating about the status of the baby then and
there.Please find the mail below,which gives a clear picture about the
baby.

Partha's baby - the good news !
Dear all,
Partha just called from the hospital. The doctor's told him that the baby
has responded well to the last injection y-day. Apparently, it is infantile
diabetes. She will be in the incubator till tomorrow, then will be fed thru
IV for 2 days. In about 5 days, they should be able to take her home. She
is on the road to recovery.
Partha conveys his heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your concern,
prayers and contributions (the collection was a total of Rs.31,500/-).
Please spread the news to those not marked on this mail.
And do continue to pray for the little one till she goes home safe and
sound.

Our dear Partha has had a baby girl yesterday. The child is in a very
serious condition. He is not in a position to bear the expenses. Each
injection the child has to take costs around eleven thousand rupees.
