I have had similar thoughts for a while. We need a browser and
protocol that can reflect living/dynamic/streaming "documents". It
feels like HTTP/HTML is being stretched beyond its natural limits for
such applications.

Yes, I think a lot of people have been thinking the same thing for a
while. I will not pretend I am the first to think it.

I hope to get some kind of basic vision outline together this weekend
for the project and a list of goals/purposes and put it out there for
people to comment on and see if you are interested in being a part of
the project.
