'As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu'.
Allah [Azza Wa Jal] said...
‘’Have We not made for him a pair of eyes.
And a tongue and a pair of lips.
And shown him the two ways.’’ [Source: 'Qur`an' ~ Surat Al-Balad: 90 ~ A # 8-10]
Imaam Sadi (Rahimahullaah) stated concerning the statement of Allah...
’Have We not made for him a pair of eyes.
And a tongue and a pair of lips for beautification, sight, speech and other necessary benefits.
So these are worldly blessings,
Then He (The Most High) stated about the Religious blessings... ‘And shown him the two ways.’’
That is:
The path of GOOD and the path of EVIL,
and He clarified for him the path of guidance
and (the path of) misguidance…[¹]
Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (Rahimahullaah) said...
He (The Most High) mentioned two eyes through which one sees and gets acquainted with the visible things, and He mentioned the two paths, and they are the paths of good and evil.
He mentioned a tongue and two lips, and they are organs utilized for learning. So He (The Most High) mentioned the tools of knowledge, and the organs utilized for learning, and He made them signs that leads one to (recognize Him) ! and as signs of His Power, His Oneness (in everything He does) and His blessings. by way of which He informs His slaves about His (favors, blessings etc).[²]
~MY 'SALAAMS' TO ALL ~

"All that is on earth will Perish. But will abide {Forever}
the Face of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honor"
{'Qur`an'- Surah Al-Rahman-55.26-27 } *****************************************************
'Wasting time is Worse than Death!
Because Death Separates you from this World
Whereas wasting Time Separates you from Allah'..
Ibn Qayimm Al-Jawziyyah.(r) ******************************************************************************
A Little Note : This makes the position of man rather precarious because these attributes distinguish him from the other creatures of God. Man has a pair of eyes ( to see and to observe ), a tongue ( which aids speech and so could ask questions, give directives, or ask for directions), a pair of lips ( which also aid in speech ) and shown the two highways ( of virtue, submissiveness, decency, decorum, obedience to God ) ( of evil, indecency, vices, misnomers etc. ) and to make a choice as to which of these highways to follow using his reasoning faculty he is endowed with. Man is expected to be rational in his thinking, objective in his reasoning, and unemotional in his contemplation of what to choose, because emotion blurs clear thinking and sound reasoning. This perhaps explains the reason God Almighty invites man to reason with Him.
