Joind.In Leadership

To keep you all in the loop, and cut a really long story short (and
because I know he'd never write this email himself), Chris is stepping
away from the organisational side of joind.in, to focus on other
projects (and life in general, which we can all relate to) but will
still be very much around as a contributor. He and I both blogged
about this (http://blog.phpdeveloper.org/?p=397 and
http://www.lornajane.net/posts/2011/at-the-helm-of-joind-in) and you
can read our words on our respective posts.

Since I have a captive audience, I this seems like a great time to say
what an amazing thing Chris built to date - I simply cannot imagine
running an event without joind.in behind it, and it has grown and will
continue to grow as people bring new ideas and effort to the project.
Thanks so much, Chris - and I think I stand for a great many people
when I say that.

things joind.in. I've been running this alongside Chris for more than
a year and I don't have any big changes of direction planned. If you
