I'd be interested to get opinions about the current Roadmap we've put out there: http://wiki.github.com/enygma/joind.in/project-roadmap

What do you think of the suggested features and/or what do you think could be improved or modified to help the site and project become event better. I'd like to get a discussion going on the future of the site and this Roadmap is as good a place as any to start. All of the things mentioned are to be done in the next year (a lot to squeeze in, I know).

Will the Version 2 of the API be backwards compatible or will it be a rewrite and break the current methods?

Personally I'd prefer to preserve the API, although I'm not exactly
loving the message formats. But it does what it needs to, and people
are already integrated with it so if we unit-tested it, and built a
replacement with better security and error handling, I think that is
probably the best overall outcome. I'm not wedded to that though so
all opinions are welcome, as ever!

Shaun - what is your take?

Lorna,

I am pretty indifferent.  However, I am working on a pre 2.0 Zend Framework Service for Joind.in.  Changing a couple of things may cause an impact and I think for people who have implemented it already in production may have some issues with method names changing.

My Current plan is to create a ZF service component than branch it and convert it for ZF 2.0 with the new namespace and other 5.3 changes.
