New Joind.In Contributors

Hi All (if you're subscribed to more than one mailing list, apologies for the cross-post, I know many people are not on announce)

I wanted to let you know that we have some new committers to the joind.in project as of this evening:  Clair and David (clairs and dstockto respectively) have been around the project for a while and will be great contributors and safe hands as they join me in looking after the code.  

A new repository now exists within the joind.in organisation: https://github.com/joindin/responsive - this will be the home of the development work on a new responsive site for joind.in, making the site useful on a wider range of devices now and in the future.  This new project builds on the work already done by mvriel and mgdm in creating a prototype mobile site using Slim as a backend and consuming the new v2 API.

In other news: cyberspice is working actively on the iphone app, fixing things and creating a new version to use the v2 API, so you can expect to see many changes over the coming weeks and months.

Any comments, questions or anything else, either reply to a mailing list or find us in #joind.in on irc.freenode.net - if you want to get involved, I can honestly say that I don't think there has ever been a better time, come find us on IRC!
